Our hurricanes can be used inside and outside and they last forever – just keep replacing the tea light in them for a beautiful, warm flickering glow.

Making hurricane candles out of wax and setting fabric designs inside is completely unique to On a Wick, having been developed by our founder Annie over 20 years ago. The complex process involves a mix of several types of waxes, heated and mixed to create the ideal house to hold the fabric in place while allowing the design to show through.
